Former GrubHub and Amazon tech leaders join us to accelerate growth in NYC and Seattle
We’re proud to announce that Rokt has appointed two veteran technology executives to our leadership team. Noel Curtis, former Grubhub executive, has joined Rokt’s New York City office as SVP of Engineering, and Amazon veteran, John Walzer, has been appointed to lead Rokt’s new Seattle Development Center. The Seattle Development Center will be continuing to build its talent before opening officially in the coming months.
Curtis will be in charge of all engineering efforts in New York, including demand-side systems and machine learning, reporting infrastructure, and user research and design. On the other hand, Walzer will be responsible for opening and staffing the new office location in Seattle, which will focus on accelerating development of new solutions for Rokt’s ecommerce marketplace. Both executives will report directly to Bill Barton, Rokt’s Chief Product and Engineering Officer, who joined Rokt from Amazon in August 2022.
“We look forward to seeing Noel accelerate progress in our New York office and for John to usher in a new stage of growth for Rokt in Seattle, an incredible tech hub where we’ll be able to access a whole new pool of talent,” said Bill Barton, Chief Product and Engineering Officer at Rokt. “Rokt is excited to welcome them both to our team as we look ahead to a year full of new opportunities and growth.”
Recently, we also welcomed Google veteran Reuben Kan as a Distinguished Engineer based in Sydney. Kan is helping lead projects focused on system architecture, performance optimization, and client-facing APIs and SDKs. As our team of experienced technology leaders continues to expand, we’re looking forward to unleashing the potential of ecommerce.
